ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY BY EU CITIZENS

From 16/12/2011 the European Union citizens can buy and register in their names without special permition from Authorities and without limitation, more than one property in Cyprus of any size/area.

CYPRUS IMMIGRATION PERMITS TO NON EUROPEAN-NOW AVAILABLE

The Minister of Interior of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus will grant an immigration permit to third country citizens (Non-European) who acquire a private home in Cyprus of value not lower than €300.000 plus V.A.T.

This immigration permit is equivalent to a permanent residence permit in Cyprus and the holders are exempt from the time consuming immigration procedures which exist for the other categories of third country citizens who enter Cyprus (e.g. consular visa, renewals of residence permit, re-entry permits, etc).
